You're both likely correct. We did have a schoolteacher seduce one of her students, a male, and produce a child. At least she was blamed for the seduction. Sentenced to probation, she promptly did it again and had another child by him. He was a willing participant but underage. My facts may be slightly off but the gist is close enough. Close enough for government prosecution anyway. She's locked up now. He's waiting for her release and his coming of age. The boy was probably a hero among male adolescents.

You might be surprised. Dozens of studies show that there is a huge unreported reservoir of abused males, and that most of them claim abuse by women. A much smaller proportion of women who recall abuse attribute it to women (i.e. lesbians). The data are lousy, of course. Just 20 years ago many abused boys thought they were the only victims. It was almost impossible to conduct a student of male child sexual abuse by women because no one thought it happened. It didn't happen in the Bible. Today there are many examples of sexual abuse of boys, especially by priests or ministers (which was generally denied, even by the Church, until recently) and by teachers. The story mentioned of the 13 year old boy who was seduced by his teacher (Washingon State?) just a few years ago and then again after she was imprisoned astounded people. But just recently, there were two more cases going to trial in Canada -- not quite as lurid (as one might expect) but apparently quite real. canoe.ca In Hawaii we have had dozens of cases of teachers being tried for fondling students. Zero tolerance. Apparently as little as rubbing their shoulders or touching their buttocks is enough to be awarded a sentence of several years. A Roman Catholic priest, a military chaplain, was just convicted & sentenced to 11 years for performing magic tricks (touching a 13 year old boy's penis and trying to make it "levitate." Turns out he had been convicted twice before for something similar.
