There is a very good reason. Now everyone knows Intel's intentions and AMD can't upstage them. In fact, any release by AMD will now appear as a paniced response to Intel! Brilliant move by Intel!

Appear to whom? The tech press? OEMs? Investors? This release clearly wasn't for consumers.

If I ws an OEM, I'd be slightly perturbed buy such kadagishta.

Perhaps the press release was bait for Jerry.

Elmer,

Wow, I am flooded with a feeling of Deja Vu here!!!

Would that statement "...paniced response to Intel! Brilliant move by Intel!" be anything like the similar statement that you made in response to the situation over 1GHz releases which stated: "Clearly they (AMD) are in panic mode reacting to Intel's bold move."?

Message 13027065

Just like I said in my replies to you then, It is not AMD that seems panicked to me! LOL

Regards,

Epinephrine

EP,

You're stretching, that's okay.....but don't stretch to hard, or you may strain yourself.

The last time Intel made a brilliant move was before I started investing in stocks so I have no idea when that was. But there has not a brilliant move on the part of Intel in the past 2 years...I know that for sure.
