Greg, thanks for stating the obvious.

I don't think one can infer too much about Q's biz by the layoff of 200 employees. One exQ employee I know says that this happens at least twice a year, often times with numbers greater than 200.

Just part of the 'maintenance' process, he says. Like cutting some of the tall weeds encroaching your fence line...

most of the cuts are in the G* group, which has completed most of its work with the build out almost finished of G8 infra. others probably related to module biz sale to Sierra Wireless. actually, the number was about a third of what I expected; there are a also employees who have slacked off with their new found wealth from options, who could be, but apparently haven't yet, been terminated.

i expected that it would be snyder who would claim it was shrinking business, but you win the prize. I nominate you for the Ed Snyder award for disinformation and negative spin!
