Bruce, I think our best bet is a white knight. We simply can't pull it off as individual shareholders. We can support the white knight however. The reward to a white knight will be a bargain buy of SJD, that's a given. The situation has deteriorated too far for a big premium.

As I've said the best candidate is CRU as they are a fairly substantial outfit and own the other half of the Hwini-Butre prospect. Their geologist Jon Petersen has worked on the site. However, since time is of the essence and CRU seems to be asleep on this opportunity, perhaps someone else could do it. I've heard the new management at Atna has a talent for this kind of situation. Perhaps others might have a relationship with other possibilties? Are there any institutions holding stock?

I'm certain the poison pill only applies to shares picked up before a proxy offer. Proxies are exercises that require a certain percentage (2/3?) to accept and the deal is done.

One of my concerns about our situation is that there don't appear to be strong enough shareholders from a power and influence point of view. It's mostly just vocal people like me, and although I received numerous e mails last April expressing sympathy for a change at SJD, nobody substantial has stepped to the plate. I'm a former stockbroker, a venture capitalist and redeveloper and a pretty savvy investor, but I'm also an American and don't really have enough knowledge and experience dealing with Canadian junior golds on this kind of exercise.

The bottom line is that we are going to get screwed, unless we get the knight fast.
