Razor and all, Just my humble opinion, but it looks like the big boys are generating dry powder for the market next week. There are some big name techs and consumer issues that are at very attractive prices. Now that window dressing is over I think we will see many of these issues start to accelerate ( TXN close to recent lows, Harrah's is at a rediculous multiple as is Park Place Ent, Chase and Citi are gifts as is TGT and LOW) I think we will see some cash generation continue to lower patch prices as profits are pulled out.

However when this is over in a month or two and the tech market starts to slide into the October slump the NG and NG focused services will be the place to make money.

Did anyone else catch the GLM CEO on CNBC yesterday? He said he was comfortable with analysts estimates and indicated they could be low by 50% should GLM valuation reach the same levels as in the past peak periods.

Just for the record I am 30% patch, 30% tech, 30% banks/casinos/retailers, 10%biotech. I intend to be 75% patch in less than 60 days. Anyone else care to share current allocations?

Razor- the CRK trade of 140k shares after 4pm at $8 when it traded at 8.6 at 3:59 was some kind of collusion but I am not knowledgable to say what. I hope some of our more experienced traders on the thread can tell us-Frank

Re CRK--- This looks to me like the specialist got an an order to sell 'at market on close' approximately 150k shrs. That's a lot of shrs for CRK, especially for Friday before a holiday. He had to go down to $8 to find enough buying interest to move the order. Then all buyers got the $8 price because that's the way it's done.
---That's just my guess. Did anyone have a Limit Buy Order in at a price above $8? Did it fill at $8? That would be evidence in favor of my hypothosis.
---I'd bet CRK will pop right back up. Bwdik?
