Usually those programs allow you to establish a working area that is larger than the screen area, I don't know about the Matrox G400 or other manufacturers but my older Matrox G200 video adapter has the capability to have a desktop are larger than the display area. Zeuspaul was a big fan of this capability long before Matrox started selling the G200. I suspect there are a other video adapters with this capability. Hence if any other reader of this thread has a video adapter that is capeable of having a larger destop are than the display area we would appreciate you posting the information.
