$200 is the going price for a full version. I built a machine and needed a legal operating system. How much cheaper is it some where other than CompUSA? I paid $200 for 256megs of memory that would have cost $1000 four years ago I think that Windows should cost $40 concidering how cheezy it is. I disconected one of the hard drives and it is up and running. I've al ready got a fatal encryption error. Must be the Intel Indio video capture card. So what other problems do I have other than not living in OHIO any longer?

Exacctnt,

"Only a moron would pay $200 for Windows 98"

Go to www.microsoft.com and you'll see that the retail price is $209 (estimated).

What you are saying is that only a moron would buy software from Microsoft!

Cheers,

Norm
