QCOM has been in the grips of a definite and undeniable downtrend. I would not be a buyer unless the lower bollinger band is violated. Fundamentally I love what QCOM does but many people and institutions do as well or so they say. QCOM is a broken stock... I would like to see it break just a little more before I would enter. If this were to happen tomorrow... that would mean a sell off down to 55 or so and then we should see a bounce higher.

Will we see 55 tomorrow? I doubt it... but it sure could happen before too long...

Just my opinion.

My concern is that if we get any lower the Q looks ripe for a takeover -- certainly the "big boys" (INTC) could take it out (not so much worried about NOK doing the same)

UF paine webber has cut their estimates to 1.02 fpr 9/2000 and 1.25 for 9/2001 which put us at 20% growth for next year.

Anybody know why or has the pw report.
