Doug, <But this rules out Gateway's 1 GHz troubles as the source of the bogus "those from Dresden have some problems" line, contrary to what we were speculating earlier given the June 12 date of the Gateway discovery (internally) and the June 12 version of the Techweb story containing the fraudulent anonymous quote.> It might not be accurate in this instance but it is clear that motherboard makers have been having problems getting to 1G. Lots of fingers have been pointed to KT133 but it doesn't really matter where the problem is - it is a lost opportunity. Chuck
