Don:

This one comes under the heading of superb marketing. (g)

The facts underlying the noted comments are accurate,.... Rambus memory does provide mediocre yields, but the conclusion reached doesn't follow. Only Samsung is producing RMBs memory in quantity and it recently allowed that it was going to cut back on its standard RMBS chip for lack of market interest (although it also stated that it would forge ahead with its 128 Mbit version,... we shall see). Samsung also produces tons of Sdram memory. As well, the entire industry continues to be on a roll with respect to improved yields. The memory shortage is a myth. Watch the spot market pricing over the next month or two for evidence of this.

Best, Earlie
