Ongoing expansion of GSM networks is not limited to Europe. I started to catalog press releases for this year's GSM and GSM/GPRS system upgrades and expansions. I quickly discovered that it was a larger job than I expected, so I limited my search to the month of June 2000 and to 4 equipment providers. The results are listed below and suggest that the market for Nokia GSM phones has an excellent future for years to come.
