Dear Silicon Investor Members:

On behalf of the entire Silicon Investor team, we are writing to apologize for the issues that have occurred on SI over the past couple weeks.

As many of you know, we rolled out a new database infrastructure. Our intent was to provide a better platform to support the growth of your community. Clearly, the rollout did not happen according to plan; we ran into a number of unanticipated issues, many of which you have noted. Again, we apologize for these issues, and we are sorry for any inconveniences that may have been caused.

At this point, the new database is in place, and we have tackled the critical bugs. If you notice anything out of place, please do not hesitate to let us know.

We fully recognize that we exist to support your community, and we hope you'll forgive us for letting you down in that respect. We also want you to know that we intend to continue investing in SI's infrastructure, to support its continued growth. After all, we all want SI to be the best site of its kind, and we know that what truly makes SI great is its tremendous member community.
