This price drop is a nice buying opportunity gift that I did not expect to get before earnings. Hey, if they're going to give it to me, I'll take it.

From what I gathered from CNBC this morning, the SSB guy was mostly concerned about a slow down in mobile phone handset unit growth. I guess he thinks that AMD will not be able to sell its flash memory. What an idiot. AMD has signed a half dozen long term supply agreements for flash and is completely sold out for the forseeable future.

The semiconductor have been very strong and have had a lot of big analyst on the street like dan niles over at lehman brothers, making very strong calls in favor of the em accept group because they go into everything that technology wireless, and a lot of the sort of hand held device all sorts of things that people have just assumed will continue to grow and grow today we are getting call perhaps they wouldn't jonathan joseph from salomon smith barney saying he sees the chip industry slowing.
