Joe: you must be part Vulcan, or an avid trekkie. Either way, I know what you're saying. Even Prechter isn't wrong too much because he takes one of these positions whereby it's the market parameters that determine the trend. If it goes up, they called it; if it goes down, they called that too. Once in a while they swallow their pride and 'fess up. What I find really amusing, and quite useless, are their supposed long or short positions which take no account for commissions or spreads. Not exactly real world! What's your take on current price action in gold? Dale
