These trains are based on the ones already in operation since a year and a half on the Berne's suburban network, where they are particularly well appreciated by passengers as well as by the operator. Total value of the three orders is approximately Cdn$51.3 million (57 million Swiss francs) and vehicles will be manufactured in the Villeneuve plant in Switzerland. /T/ * BLS ordered six 3-car trainsets, based on the ones of the first order, to be used to enhance the service on the Berne's suburban network, more specifically on the lines Berne-Neuchâtel, Berne- Payerne and Berne-Schwarzenburg. * TMR ordered three 2-car trainsets to be operated on the lines Martigny-Orsières and Martigny-LeChâble. * TRN ordered one 3-car trainset and one 2-car trainset to be operated on the Val de Travers line.
