I just bought a new Dell yesterday, I got one with RDRAM, (Rambus Ram) and after reading this article I was almost ready to change it back to an SDRAM system:

DDR SDRAM is super fast, cheaper and currently used in Nvidia graphics cards, but not main stream memory YET:

Jorj: Me to, fwiw, on RMBS. IMO, in this market environment, the run may be quite large. First bit of news and it will pop fiercely. The "convention thinking" has been that the "smart money" is shorting RMBS. But, take a look at the institutional interest via Thomson. thomsoninvest.net
Its crude, to be sure. But its all buy interest (interest, of course, is the operative word). Same pattern last few days. Fwiw, I've seen this sort of thing before. Bought a ton of IMNX in the low 30s coupla weeks back when it was being pressured down -- yet the institutional buy interest was unusually strong.
