I think that this is the best article on this that I've seen so far. Typical of the Economist to actually try to get some facts and then think about it before writing something. Nothing dramatic, but it all makes sense and agrees with the few things that I really know. Thanks.

The way this article starts out, with hackneyed, regurgitated pulp-hype-pap, I almost clic'd "<-". But then it gets down to some pretty good deductions.

I wonder how much of it is in-the-know information from reliable sources and how much is gossip. I could not find a byline.
