My opinion.

There is and will not be any DELL deal.

Where are Gateway, Compaq, IBM, any major Duron systems?
It cannot beat a Celeron if it doesn't exist.

AMD has been weak since they did not effect the stock split after shareholders voted to increase shares and expected it.

VIA chipsets are questionable. I base this opinion that on most benchmarks, the AMD 750 using PC100 and super bypass beats or equals KX133 using PC133.

There is not any SMP Athlon systems on the market eleven months after the Athlon launch.

AMD better have the 760 chipset soon and the 760MP at the same time.

If the 760 chipset and Thunderbird cannot compete with a P4, this stock is dead money. Forget Mustang and Sledgehammer.

After July 19 I hope AMD produces information outlining their plans; right now, I see AMD adrift, and stockholders wishing on hope. Opportunity is wasting away.

Crazyman,

Comment on Nokia

> If you look back at my post you'll see that Goutama had used the term, that's why I used quotes around the word Lesser in my reply to him.

Yes, I used the term "lesser company" in regards to the takeover rumor :-)

>My understanding of his use of the term was he was comparing the two companies tech/engineering/product diversity wise, not capitialization/revenue wise.

That's what exactly I meant. Thanks.
