Geez mm.... I can't believe that I didn't realize that bookmarks.htnm is the bookmark file. YES, of course I had it backed up.. hahaha.. I copied it back to the user folder and the personal toolbar and bookmarks are back.

I'll attribute my stupidity to the many hours I've been on the road returning from florida...<ggg> I have no shame...LOL

Back to the original problem... Is it common for the bookmark.htm file to simply disappear like that?
