Linda. My point is simply this. QCOM does not have a stranglehold on WCDMA as it does on IS-95 narrowband. Period. Will QCOM make money on 3g and its 5 modes. Yes. Will others. YOU BET YA. If you and others think QCOM is the only game in town on WCDMA then you are "all wet" yes. In fact I urge you to search these "agreements" that the last poster to me mentioned. You will notice CDMA 2000 A LOT. Only recently now that WCDMA is taking the forefront do you see comments like " QCOM will get paid on all flavors of 3g including WCDMA". They are nervous and the stock price reflects it. I will refrain ( at least try) from wasting your time as I can see I am speaking to myself. I wish you all the best L.
