Michael Murphy whose newsletter i subscribe to, reversed direction 360 degrees on saturday and said NAZ would indeed top by wednesday and go back to retest lows. This sudden change of heart would be due to "an enterprise software shock". Subscribers guess IBM or MSFT. He runs a fund whose biggest position was bmcs and he was stunned by what happened last week and now thinks delay of orders because of eco slowdown and confusion over what software to buy in old economy is spreading. Indeed orcl earnings talked about orders failing to close but blamed it on their new no discount policy. That of course could be Larry Ellison blowing some smoke. Murphy recommended sale of msft, intc, orcl, amat, lsi, csco. He thinks big rally will start in september after May lows hold. What do you think of this scenario.
