Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look out for?
I'm not suggesting anyone invest internationally but Furukawa, Ando and Anritsu are on rolls lately.

BTW - I picked up Ciena at 13 after the Tellabs crisis. Surprised I never sold after a year and a half.

Incidentally, several weeks ago I heard Corning had offered a price that would have equated to $400, so that may be the floor.

If that is the case, Corning stock would have really tanked on this deal and consequently SDLI may not have been even trading close to that level. Maybe that is why SDLI prefer a merger of similiarly valued stocks. I still put GLW in the range of Cisco or NT types of valuation.

Have a feeling that after a day or so, JDSU will start moving and of course SDLI will be doing the same.
