Ooooops post #23477 I just realized I got my bells mixed up. It was PacBell not SBC that ran the negative ads featuring @Home. On another note, the free computers might be SBC's way of solving the worst problem with installs....people's screwed up computers. My @Home installer told me that he had done installs that took 4-5 hours because someone would want to put @Home on an old P60 with no ram and very little hard drive space.
