Eric L: Hey, I miss Cisco. To try to be clear. Cisco was a "piggy bank" for me in the early 90s. What I meant to say was that it was hard to hold psychologically because of its major swings up and down - a roller coaster ride. And then I did not have the benefit of the Gorilla Game, it had not been written.

I did hold through thick and thin with one major exception. I used Cisco from time to time as a bank and took withdrawals to buy other stocks such as Ascend in 1994 and Qualcomm in 1996/7, etc. So I don't want to mislead anyone.

I also gave Cisco to young family members as a "stake" to help them learn about growth companies. And that has worked quite well. Even some of the most anti establishment of old are now saving and investing - particularly in high growth tech stocks. Mostly because they are older of course, but owning Cisco may have helped. It has been a learning experience for them.

Also I gave away the last of it to charity last December.

All good uses for it, but I repeat, I miss it.

Best.

>>They just slither from tornado to tornado.<<

Cisco may be a real example of a company that moves from S curve to S curve. We had a discussion a while back and most of us thought there weren't many companies that could do that even though Moore talked about it in his book.
