Scumbria... You should know the one answer to your four question options. I just assumed you did all the research when your said...

"AMD really has no chance of success unless they immediately come out with a DRDRAM based PC.

Scumbria"

scumbria:
"Multiple choice concerning the Intel benchmarks. Pick one or more of the below.

1. Intel is sabotaging Rambus.
2. Intel doesn't know how to perform benchmarks.
3. Intel chose benchmarks to make DRDRAM look bad.
4. Intel is incompetent at designing chipsets."

You must work for that standardized test monopoly. ETS, is it? Classic case of a question which is wrong by design; no reference here to bus speeds. Correct answer:

INTC didn't pay heed to the exisitence of disinformation specialists and posted 2 sets of numbers without worrying that they would be exploited as THE condemning evidence against the bus.

In that sense, they blew it. We'll see what the numbers look like when the P4 systems are released. And then, we can compare them against all of the "custom" (= alpha / beta vaporware) micron DDR units you desire.

Oh, I forgot. You don't think that DDR is needed on the desktop anymore, ever since it became clear that they were not going to market this year. OK, then we'll compare it against the 815E w/ comparable processor.
