Are Muslim women allowed to use normal dressess or do they still have to wear that Camel veil over their faces....

Read and weep....

rawa.org

As you read and weep, recall that the Taleban were armed and financed by the US Government, which felt that anything would be better than a Russian-sponsored socialist state. I wonder how many Afghan women think the Taleban is an improvement.

Your tax dollars at work.

It should be pointed out that Islam is capable of inspiring such excess because it is still a relatively young religion. When Christianity was that age, it had much the same character.

Well you surprised me. I thought you were being fair to focus on the word fanatic as the key word. Now it is obvious that you are a simple bigot. Too bad. As for all your accusations about me and how I treat women (as if I have any control over what women decide to do), let me tell you this much; 1) my wife has a PhD and has worked in high positions of authority. She freely chooses her beliefs and lifestyle and cherishes that freedom. 2) You don't know me at all. 3) Steven did not initially clarify that he was remarking on a local issue at all, he insinuated all Muslims in his comment. 4) Based on your comment about what a few, non-representative people have done, would you say that the foot loose opportunistic Mexicans living in border towns have earned a reputation that all hispanics should be forced to wear...I hope not. If not, then your sense of justice seems to be selective. 5) I am quite well aware of the kinds of horrific acts some people have committed who are Muslims. The media has radar for such things and never fails to exploit it. Abuse exists everywhere. That reflects only on those individuals who would abuse a system, not the system itself or the group at large. 6) Islam and Islamic practice is a choice, it is not OK to impose it on anyone. Your suggestions/bashings are simply the popular rantings of the ignorant masses. It appears you enjoy it, so I wont waste my time suggesting education on the matter. 7) I do not wish to debate this issue with you or anyone else. 8) Since you have shown yourself unworthy of respectful dialog, I will no longer respond to your posts on this thread or any other. 9) You have no business criticising ANYONE who tyrannizes others unless you are willing to start with the one who made those tracks leading up to the chair you are currently sitting in. You have no credibility.
