2. Old advice, keep your head still until well after the putt has left the club. I think there is a direct correlation to how long my head is still after I putt and how often I make the putt. (BTW, this is really important on those 3 to 4 footers that, when you miss, you want to be struck by lightning and die on the spot)

Good advice. The drill I use to insure I am keeping head still is to putt 3 footers. I do not lift my head until I HEAR the ball go in the hole. Looks funny when I miss because I give it plenty of time to fall. I would venture to say I make a minimum of 15% more 3 footers when I hear them rather then see them go in the hole.
