I guess for these optionaires turned working stiffs it's starting to look like real work. Good, because the money I put in this company is money I made from my labor.

gpowell,

The timing has never been better. Now that the bloom is off the Nasdaq, and now that many Internet companies have hit the four-year mark, options have vested, passions have waned, and a bad case of burnout has set in. ''I was just bone-tired,'' says Susan Bratton, Excite@Home Corp.'s (ATHM) vice-president for marketing, who is on month two of a three-month sabbatical.

Oy vey. I'm becoming convinced that what this industry needs is a nice big fat heavy sustained unforseen brooding recession. Bone-tired my ass. What the hell is a three-month sabbatical anyway?
