Heinz, who needs to be washed out of this gold market? Gold Bugs? You'll never wash them out: They are as hardcore as it gets. Perma Bears? Are you going to sell?

Tell me who is in the gold market that needs to be washed out? The few value players in this market aren't going to sell.

I'm looking at very late stage Bear Market total Apathy in regard to gold. The Gold Stocks are just meandering lately on light volume. This kind of action can go on for a while till a catalyst comes. But it is definitely IMO very late stage Bear Market Activity.

Heinz, I remember from years ago a major league baseball manager traded away his team's best player. A reported asked him how he could give up his star, and he replied, "We finished in eighth place with him, we can sure as hell finish in eighth place without him."

That's how I feel about the gold miners vaunted hedging programs. They have done nothing for the shareholders for years, so why not try a few years without them.

BTW, electricity rates are going up in NYC, but there is no inflation:
