Caught holding CIEN. . .another of those chatroom rumors that Briefing picks up. . .and makes real news out of it. . .if true, it would explain why it is always passed over for buyouts. . .waiting for a bounce to dump out before real world news picks up story. . . .could still be bogus rumor. . . fortunately, I only had a tiny amount left.

How about CHINA today? Another big pop. But the real news was in CBBC [China Broadband]. . . as scammy as ALL the China stocks seem, I can't resist any stock that has less then a 1 million share float. . . especially when mania kicks in. . . .CBBC is capable of doubling in a single day as a momo. . . or even more if CNBC picks it up. . . given the right timing, the right day, the right volatility, the moon, and Ron Insana's biorhythms.

I too am bullish for a week or so, but I think the Institutional Investors are going to be at their worst, out for revenge after the rally runs its course. Analysts still trying to douse the flames, talking about the fall-out from the dot-com disasters.

Looking to sell a lot at the end of next week. Take my nice tidy profits and wait for bargains at end of Summer. Take some time off with the big boys. Only I won't be in the Hamptons.

So far this has een playing like from a script. We knew there would be an earnings rallies even as the "big" disappointments and downgrades brought us bargains. If you see companies fanning the flames with PR and analysts fanning the flames with Upgrades, then you know that it is time to go. Don't fall for their strategies that play right into your greed. "AMD--Target price at 120. Maybe I should wait? CMGI Target price at 80. Maybe I should wait? YHOO will surely get back to 200....etc., etc. "

Waiting loaded up for now but with an itchy finger near the trigger.

Congrats to everyone who jumped back on the B2B bandwagon. Great results from ARBA have not only propelled it but ICGE, VNTR, CMRC, VERT, etc. after hours. Look for CNQR to conitnue to climb from Rande's call at 3 3/4. ARBA is today's YHOO and B2B is tomorrow's dish du jour.
