CB,

Is there any chance that a countersuit (filing a frivolous lawsuit, maybe some other charge) would prevail? I would very much like to see companies be scared from bringing nasty lawsuits against those who say nasty things..

Zach

I don't know that house in particular, but if they have an office on wall street I can guarantee you the joint is filled with pimps who would sell their own grandmother for a scalped 1/8th of a point on 10,000 shares. And I guarantee you that NONE of their analysts would EVER front run their appearances on CNBC, with instructions for the boys back in the pits to dump every share of xyz.com that they gush about on TV within 5 minutes of the initial pop.

Comon. The whole industry is a bunch of criminals in suits. Who are they kidding? The only reason half of them arent in jail is that the market bottom hasnt really fallen out yet. The senate hearings didnt start until AFTER 1929.

The CS/FB tech toutfest in early Jan or Feb is perhaps the best calendar-scheduled shorting opportunity of the year.

I could look up ten or twenty posts in the MU thread where we're laughing our asses off at the CS/FB analysts, who are certainly not crooked or incompetent, talking up the stocks during the conference. It's a put-buying bonanza.

CB, I see the whole thing as a sad affair and on top of it you have the Attorney General playing with stupid things like the Cuban boy instead of persecuting those on WS who manipulate stocks with the help of their "research department" who is more interested in pump and dump than in anything else.

Just wonder if they will also sue Fleck for his daily rap <GGGG>
