Ray- I think you might have missed Bill's follow up on his posting with some direct comments from the company and a direct line to a contact there. Anyway, just in case you missed his follow up I thought I would mention it. I understand your point though. Because I too had taken the time to read the entire story and then, at the latter half of it, NVEI was mentioned. Which rang a bell in my head. Kind of/sort of spam-like because of the way the author of the story wrote it, not so much that Bill cut&pasted it. Bill- Thanks for the further information you posted from the company. But I'm not sure what to say because John(of NVEI) really didn't state anymore details than what the PR(or maybe it was a real story?) that Inside Wall Street published. I'm just not sure what to think of it. I would have thought if George Gilder thought their technology was viable, turning copper into fiber(so to speak), he would have followed up on it in my post to him. Personally I wouldn't know how to evaluate something like this. But if you find some real world test results, I would like to review them. You may want to contact emergencyopps from upstream. I believe it was him/her that originally brought NVEI to this thread's attention. He/she may have done more DD on it since. If you find anything more substantial, I'd appreciate a heads up.
