You may be right if you are following a "program" of continuous investment (time averaging over long period of times) investing similar amounts when the prices are excessively high and excessively low. The discussions were not about that approach but whether or not a peak in the semi cap (and following it, in the semi chip) stocks has been reached or not. Your point was that cycles do not matter, bringing as proof one stellar performance of one fund. Why don't you research the "stellar performance" of the "Stedman" family of funds (or is it only one fund, I read somewhere that they manage to lose money and of course underprerform relative to all averages every time).
