Agreed.

I am/was a smoker and I think that anybody that ever smoked anything "knew" that it is something they shouldn't be doing. Whether they'd admit it or not...

I agree with you. If I choose to drive my car into a brick wall. I think that I have just a tad bit of contributory negligence.

I agree with both sides of the story. Tobacco is evil. It does addict and kill. But the fact is the smoker chooses to smoke and remain smoking knowing the risks, but you know the saying, "it won't happen to me."

If you really want to quit, you will find a way.

My father use to say, "I'll quit smoking when I die", and he did die, at age 54. Lung cancer is one of the most agonizing deaths, but everyone has the attitude "It won't happen to me."

This brings up the topic of lawsuits and that always seem to burn my butt. It seems in the USA you can sue anyone for anything. I wonder if some people are just to lazy to work hard, and would rather hit the jackpot by winning a big suit?
