I am not sure why you have the impression of DMC business being in data warehousing..

They have as far as I know, data backup, recovery, replication, restoration oriented software products.. They also have investment in a company that is private and for the life of me, can't recall the name.. In any case, here is the link to their site..

If the price is $250 million Canadian, I'd agree because that would be only $24.50 a share, not much above the current price. $250 million american would be about $36 a share though, and that should be enough, I would think.

Hi Carl, just got back from a mini vacation, and haven't had a chance to respond.

It's my belief that DMC's interest in Point Base could be worth as much as 100 Million when it IPO's. This would make a buy out price of $36 a share incredibly cheap especially when its competitors trade at 5 times that price (on the Nasdaq).
