Sham,

Glad to hear you are better. As someone who plays in a similar climate 4 months out of the year, here are some tips (just in case your wife will let you play):

Drink water constantly. This will keep you from dehydrating and prevent something I wouldn't wish on anyone, kidney stones. It only took me 6 incidents of kidney stones to learn this one.

Never drink beer or alcohol on the course in this type of weather.

Carry a towel wrapped around ice. I typically keep a towel like this around my neck in between shots.

Golf in hot weather is about the same as golf in the rain or cold weather, if you are aware of the dangers and have the proper equipment/supplies, you'll be fine.

<<The problem is that its about 115-120 fahrenheit with 85% to 95% humidity>>

Is this possible? The others were nice enough to express concern for your physical well-being (which I share) but I gotta challenge you on this point. If these measurements were taken at the same time, wouldn't the dew point be about 110 Fahrenheit? I thought I remembered reading dew points rarely exceeded 90 degrees anywhere in the world.

Some people give the morning relative humidity with the afternoon temperature, forgetting that RH drops during the day. Why I bet you had to endure only a 60% RH while dropping to the green. Since I don't like to be subjected to any dew point higher than 60 degrees Fahrenheit, I think I'll stay away from the Gulf (actually any gulf). Here's to your quick recovery.
