Ref: Euro weakness. Add to that the fact European infrastructure vendors taking market from the US vendors due to one weaker Euro.

Re: ADCT Reports Huge Growth in Access

"ADC said sales rose 67 percent to $891 million from $535 million a year ago, driven by a 120 percent gain in broadband connectivity sales."

Thread- Broadband connectivity is what this thread is mainly about. In the multitude of telecom infrastructure companies I follow access is king of growth. It just goes on and on and on. I've heard this out of every single company I follow in the equipment business reporting results for calendar Q200. The only exception is Harmonic(HLIT) but that was more of a TV Land shortfall.

I'll try to do a CC wrap-up on ADCT but it's not an easy company to follow. There isn't an access technology around that they don't touch in some way...well maybe fiberless optics escapes them?

If you want some idea of what I posted previously on ADCT, you can follow the links upstream above. -MikeM(From Florida)

PS BTW with all this incredible access growth, it's getting pretty clear to me the next great area of investing will be in the metro arena.
