You think it's ok to void the hardware warranty based on the software installed? That seems a bit harsh to me.

Oh! Presario *notebook. Forget about it! <g> --- The new Linux distros rudedog have way better h/w support (way better). In fact, they're even working on Winmodem support. Sound cards are still a pain, but it's really rare to have a video problem. As soon as the newer (post 1.0) Corel cheap CDs are available (maybe already), you should check out the <cr> <cr> <cr> installation. Briefly you think - 'Jeez, maybe this thing CAN be competitive on the desktop'. -JCJ
