Doug, I'm not saying I'm agreeing with Niceguy, but for the last two or three months, the surprise moves in the stock have been to the downside. The stock could very well be in for a surprise move to the upside. I'm going to gamble this week on a few more options, but I think I'm suddenly leaning towards August options and away from July's in case the water Scumbria accuses niceguy of drinking is something more along the lines of Tequila. <g>

Re: "That would take $2 earnings and no cuss words from Greenspan on Thursday to materialize, IMHO."

Comment: Wonder what $2.25 would do to the price of AMD? Look, what I'm saying is AMD has had a penchant recently to surprise on the upside and the market has reacted with disbelief and skepticism to date...Might not Q2, when surprise is on upside finally convince the marketplace that AMD is for real and by so doing place a revaluation on AMD more in line with those companies that are "swimming in the same pool"? I'm certainly not ruling such an outcome as an impossibility...In fact, I see the probability of the $120 Friday outcome as to make July and August (for the more conservative) call options (curent AMD = $89) as outstandingly attractive!!!
