Tony, RE: What's the background of most other analysts? Finance and business I imagine. Nothing wrong with those, but technology is not exactly a piece of cake to keep up with.

Actually, tech is one of the few places where most of the analysts come from an industry background rather than a Wall St. background.

...and electronics have chips in them.

But, I get your point and (after this post) I'll try to stop beating the issue about the caps. But, if someone in the industry had noted much earlier the 10X increase in pricing on TCs last year, the chip industry would have greatly benefited with this early insight.
