Barb, this is happening all over. the anecdotal evidence of the loosest credit standards of recent years is overwhelming.

it's just another piece of the puzzle to be ignored by the bulls of course...

consumer debt is rising three times faster than incomes. one has to be a complete bonehead to not see how dangerous that is.

Yesterday I was going through 4 weeks of accumulated mail and threw away unopened at least a fifteen credit card offers.--as we all know. The worst are to my daughter, six weeks out of college. I now have a power of attorney from her to terminate any unwanted credit cards. One she never asked for charged a $25 annual fee and then began adding interest to that, but they would not cancel unless she talked to them.

Last time I saw anything like that was the pimps in Monterey (mexico) in 1962, who would literally try to drag you into a house.

i don't know if this is repetitive, but i heard on CNBC that margins were at the highest point they have ever been right now---higher than March.

uh oh is all i say.
