It would be funny indeed to see Chello offering phone service in the US under the Chello brand over the Baby Bell networks once ATHM is eliminated by sale of working interest

So what are you saying, that you think a bunch of socialist Europeans will beat out the "Quiche eating" capitalists at their own game?

BTW nobody but the French eat quiche anymore. It's way too loaded with fat and cholesterol.

Chello gets the only thing that ATHM actually has: the experience and knowledge of creating and operating a BB network.

This is the primary "added value" or "synergy" of the deal. We hand over experience and knowledge and they try to run with it to build a stock with a better market cap than ATHM management is capable of achieving.

Maybe ATHM management admitting defeat internationally before they barely started was a good thing. Maybe they just were not up to the task and they knew it.
