Hi Bob, I am making this a public post since there may be others with the same questions that I have concerning Version 2 of Newport. (1) I currently have version 1.22. Very often a new version of software is offered at a lower price to those upgrading from a prior version than that price offered to first time users. There seems to be no indication of such on your website. Is there a separate lower price for upgraders? Please do not misunderstand this question. I am not saying that there should be such a discount. I merely don't wish to pay the new user price if I there is in fact a lower price for upgraders. (2) Also I do not need an additional copy of the book and I would prefer to have you email the software rather than snail mail it. This was possible with the previous version but perhaps the current version is too large? Alternatively access to a convenient site from which to download the software would be a useful alternative. I assume that there would be a slight price reduction for anyone not ordering the book? To the extent that you may reply publicly to these questions please do so in this forum. To the extent that you can't (e.g. would this violate some rules of SI which prevent sales transactions to take place through SI) please send me a private SI message or respond to my personal email address.
