Altern8: We very well could be seeing an attempt at a shakeout... The New Lows on the NYSE and Nasdaq continue to show a drying up of panic selling... finance.yahoo.com The earnings numbers are too good for the market to have a major selloff... The coming oil production increase coupled with an end to the rate hike cycle makes me believe that the 3700 to 3800 area on the NDX will find good support for another run... This time, to new highs... But... I'd feel much better if we filled that gap about 150 points lower... bigcharts.com Jim
