<<What are the forces that will keep JDSU from going to 400 at 3:59 on Wed.? >>

John, it may peak some days after wed. The actual buying does not all have to be completed by Wednesday. Index fund mgrs do not have to have it in their funds by Wed.

I am suprised by how many investors do not know this. When yhoo was added, I had bought the stock just two days prior, on a lark, thinking that last Christmas would be great for yhoo. I really lucked out, in the truest sense of the word! But on the msg threads, everyone seemed to think that the add date was the drop-dead date for buying. Not so. I wish i had some jdsu now (who doesn't!), but I am watching and may buy a little today.

In addition, I am wondering if there will be a big drop on Wednesday, as JDS longs believe all the buying has been done, and take their profits. If so it may be a good buy opp for another leg up, as there may well be fund mgrs who will wait til the last minute (the couple of weeks after Wed.) to do some of the buying they need to do.

Good luck.
Victor
