Very good post Ray.

I agree with you that the AMZN comparison is fallacious. In a word, EXDS is in a "sticky" business. The low churn numbers prove that. We went through this argument ad nauseum last fall about the competitive landscape in web hosting and I think the correct consensus view is web hosting is definitely one of the internet support businesses where being first is a definite competitive edge. Couple that with quality support services and Voila! if you are a customer the decision making adage will be "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"....

Sticky business.

Well I must say, yours is the only post on this thread that addressed some of the issues at hand. But Keynes was right: I nthe long run we are all dead. But in the case of EXDS, the "cogniscenti" will always take a lower price with integrated pipe.
