Do you understand how IS95C deployment can be slated for October and 1X chipsets not be shipping in any volume until FY01 2001(Oct-Dec 2000)?

On the declining ASIC ASPs, the handsets those soon to be old ASICs are going into represent a growing base of upgrade candidates for higher priced handsets with higher ASP 1X ASICs in the very near future. The timing of the transition is unclear, but it will happen.
