i am confident that dell will fix you up. i know that each and every time i have contacted them, they have resolved the problem.

i know that you are adding hardware, and they may say that they are not obligated to provide support for non-factory installed devices, but your problem also involves the operating system they installed (win98, right?) and the new devices' compatibility with the existing components.

sometimes dell's frontline recorded menu selections kinda' make it difficult to get to a tech for help... they may make it sound like the problem is not theirs to deal with. so if you don't hear a menu selection that fits exactly, just choose something close.

please let us know what you find out

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to ask this question but I'm getting desperate.

Can anyone recommend a decent "ALARM" program either shareware or commercial in the price range of $20 - $25. I have to take medicine at certain intervals during the day and am having one hell of a time remembering when to take them. I have checked ZD Net and they have zillions, I just don't know which one to try. BTW, I have an alarm watch but my hearing isn't what it used to be and its no help. Thanks in advance.
