I don't know if a decreasing equipment b-2-b always leads into a slump (I don't thinks so, but see Gottfried's charts), but any b-2-b above 1 (prediction 1.25?) means growth in the industry, under these conditions. A decrease in growth rate, but still growth. I think that's often forgotten, but mathematically, that's what b-2-b over 1 means. In a slump, then it might just mean that sales have collapsed, but that isn't what is going on here. We should calculate how long it would take to cover the land surface of Taiwan with semiconductor fabs if the b-2-b stays at 1.3 and all orders are fulfilled.

Does this off topic post get me banned? It was just a response.....
