Did anyone notice Intel cut prices of the PIII at the beginning of the week, but AMD kept Athlon pricing the same? I think AMD mentioned something about this in the CC.

Prices will probably drop again when 1.1GHz comes out next month.

I strongly disagree. I think this is the biggest myth in the investment world. It has happened in the past, some analyst have said it and now all the sudden it is the "law"!

There is not nearly enough history in the semi's to suggest this, at most we have 3 cycles. And each have had its own characteristics. If Asian crisis had not happened, there may not have been a down cycle.
